Hi, we're a small team, and we actually live here.

I was born in Japan, raised in Hawaii and New Jersey, and I moved back to Japan for high school. Growing up between those worlds, I became fully bilingual, and fully in between two cultures that I love. Over the years I watched friends all over the world fall in love with Japan the same way I had, but they'd remain stuck on the outside, never quite able to take the step of moving here, let alone actually owning property.

This all started small. My grandmother's house in Tokyo needed renovating, and I wanted to help her fix it up. That one project pulled me fully into real estate, where I met Kato-san and the rest of our team. Somewhere along the way, I realized that we had something rare: the language, the local relationships, and the hands-on ability to actually get things done here. To not just point people toward a listing, but walk through the whole process with them, the way I'd want someone to guide my own grandmother.

So that's what we do. We're bilingual, we're based here in the Tokai region (the Nagoya area), and we run a renovation crew and a property management company alongside the newsletter. Japan Owners Club is us opening up the same care we gave my grandmother's house to buyers all over the world.
